As we know, the Console commands in CS:GO can be very useful when you are playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. So here are five important commands, we think you need to know in order to get the most out of CS:GO.

1. net_graph_1

This command is essential for any player that needs to track important information regarding the performance of your computer and internet speeds, not necessarily your performance in-game.

As you can see, net_graph_1 tracks your FPS, your live ping (the ping in the tab menu isn't always updated), and the tick rate of the server.

Alongside those values are other hidden measurements such as your loss and choke, which are indicators of the quality of connection you have with the server you are playing on.

2. cl_show_team_equipment

This command is one of the newest commands to be added to CS:GO. By enabling this command, you are able to see the utility and weapons your teammates have above their heads, making it easier to see if someone has a flash or smoke in frantic situations.

It also makes it easier to see where nearby teammates exactly are instead of trying to find them on the minimap or looking for the small colored triangle in your FOV.

3. sv_cheats 1

sv_cheats is possibly the most important command to setup practice servers to practice aiming, spraying, grenade throws, or to just setup a custom server to 1v1 a friend.

By setting sv_cheats to 1, you gain access to a wide variety of commands that are typically unavailable in matchmaking or PUG servers. This includes useful commands like no_clip which lets you fly around the map, sv_showimpacts 1, which shows you where your bullets are landing, and sv_grenade_trajectory 1, which shows the trajectory in which your bullets are going.

4. demoui

If you want to review some demos you've saved from various PUGs you may have played or are rewatching some games from previous majors, demoui is extremely useful. You can also use this command during any Overwatch cases you may be reviewing, which usually. doesn't come with rewind or fast-forward features.

By inputting demoui in console, you open up a menu that allows you to control the replay speed, allows you to skip through the demo, and lets you track what tick or time in the demo you are.

5. voice_enable 0

This command is particularly useful if you find yourself stuck in a matchmaking game with annoying teammates that have bad mics or are generally toxic. By inputting voice_enable 0 in console, you can enter bliss and try to enjoy the rest of your game. voice_enable 0 is especially useful if you are in surf, kz, or aim server that has a lot of mic spam.

Don't forget to re-enable voices by typing voice_enable 1 after your game is finished.
