Yes, you read that correctly – $1,000,000.00 was paid to Ninja to stream himself playing Apex Legends.

While the source for Reuters claims shroud was also paid, and this is confirmed by his #ad tweets among other statements made by himself, they did not disclose just how much he was paid.

Being two of the most popular streamers on Twitch and both having passed 100,000 subscribers at a point, it is not surprising that they were sought for their influence in the space and it certainly led to a large influx of players to the game.

According to Reuters , “Representatives for EA and Ninja declined to comment on how much he had been paid.”
